Misha Glenny is a journalist who chose a dangerous specialty. He spends his professional life tracking down global crime, which is a very quick way to die if you're a masochist like that. But he probably loves his job that much, and he lives to tell us this important story.

In this TED talk, he tells us that there are more useful ways to deal with web hackers. Hiring them, for example, is probably the most feasible solution for any serious government to pursue. These guys are definitely among the best in the computing industry when it comes to talent and, to use the vernacular, diskarte. It's only fitting to give these talented hackers a second chance.
